The Le Creuset kettle comes in two distinct styles, the Le Creuset traditional whistling kettle and the Kone kettle
The Le Creuset Traditional Whistling Kettle is a stylish and well built stove top kettle, made from enammelled steel. it has a phenolic matt black trim on the base accompanied by a decal. It is suitable for use with all heat sources from Aga through to induction and ceramic.
It has a fixed whistle and a capacity of 2.1L
The Le Creuset Kone Kettle is also an attractive stove top kettle with the same trim and base. it can be used with the same types of heat sources but has a lower capacity of 1.6L
With either kettle it is extremely important to ensure the water level is not above the recommended marking, it's equally important to never heat up an empty kettle.
